A indigen of Capital of Hawaii, Hawai'i, pianist/vocalist Anjani combines her love of jazz with kindred, Hawaiin, and other various musical theater influences. Born Anjani Norman Mattoon Thomas, she attended Berklee College of Music in Beantown earlier moving to Freshly York City. During the betimes '80s she performed around Manhattan, by and by meeting fabled singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen. Subsequent tours and recording exploit with Cohen on such albums as his 1988 tone termination I'm Your Adult male and 1992's The Future light-emitting rectifying valve to Anjani's number 1 self-titled solo album released in 2000. A class after she released the spiritually precondition The Sacred Names. Formerly once more teaming up with co-writer and producer Cohen, Anjani released Blue sky Alarm on Sony in 2006.
